:: “Signature Patriot” by Sara Morgan. Looking to the Civil War, Sara has designed a range of red, white and blue fabrics and the inspirational piece for this collection dates back to 1840/1850, and is truly unique since it is also a signature quilt, featuring the name(s) and date(s) of the individual quilt blocks and the women who created them. It is believed to be a collaborative piece from a ladies sewing club out of North Virginia. The signature panel piece which serves as the focal piece of this collection, is a true replica of the original antique quilt. Full range available.

:: “Mas d’Ousvan” This collection takes its inspiration from former designs going back to the period between the 17th to the 19th century – which were carefully conserved in printed textile workshops. A stunning range of cottons and linens encompassing toiles, floral prints, stripes and spots in subtle greys, blues, aubergines, pinks and reds. We started with 30 bolts a couple of weeks ago, but it's proving to be so popular we've had to place another order!! More is on the way, so place your order to ensure you don't miss out.

:: “30’s Playtime” by Chloe’s Closet. If "vintage is the new modern" and "everything old is new", 30's Playtime from Moda Fabrics is the hippest fabric collection in the neighbourhood. A sweet collection of 30’s prints. Selection of 12 bolts available.

:: “Neptune and the Mermaid” by Margo Elena. Vibrant colours and distinct motives of mermaids, swimmers, goldfish and octopi as well as flowers create an eclectic mix for this fascinating range. 9 bolts available.

Some quilts--such as the beautiful "Pajama Prayer"--feature a free-motion embroidery technique for adding words and sayings.

:: “Simple Friendships” by Kim Diehl and Jo Morton. It's hard to imagine authors Kim Diehl and Jo Morton could get any better--until they joined forces to share their signature looks. Enjoy stitching this creative blend of 14 spectacular quilts, all created from classic blocks.

:: “Fresh Perspectives” by Carol Gilham Jones and Bobbi Finley.  You’ll love these contemporary interpretations of antique quilts from the International Quilt Study Centre. Bobbi Finley and Carol Gillham Jones pored through the museum’s collection to find inspiration quilts for their latest project designs, ranging from simply functional to delightfully pictorial. These projects show off a remarkable array of styles, settings, and colourways—each adaptation uniquely mirrors the essential qualities of each quilt. Celebrate our rich quilt heritage by making these projects using various techniques like appliqué or improvisational piecing with traditional blocks. Plus you’ll learn how to approach designing an artistic spin on your own antique treasures.

:: “Best of Fons and Porter: Easy Collection” by Marianne Fons and Liz Porter.  For terrific quilts that are simple and quick, check out Easy Collection from the editors of Fons and Porter's Love of Quilting magazine.
